1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Veteran Check (“Vet Check”) website, platform, digital services, training materials, certification programs, and any related content (“Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. 

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the platform, you represent that you meet legal eligibility requirements. 

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. USE OF SERVICES

You agree not to:

- Use the Services for unlawful purposes 

- Copy, distribute, or modify Veteran Check intellectual property 

- Interfere with system security or access unauthorized areas 

- Misrepresent certification status

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All Veteran Check trademarks, course materials, documents, logos, digital badges, certification marks, and training content are the exclusive property of Veteran Check. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. CERTIFICATION REPRESENTATIONS

Displaying Veteran Check certification badges or credentials is allowed only if you currently hold the appropriate certification. Vet Check may revoke certification or badge rights for misuse.

7. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is required for courses, certifications, memberships, and employer programs. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

8. USER CONDUCT

Users must behave professionally and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or misconduct may result in removal from programs without refund. 

9. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not:

- Attempt to reproduce Veteran Check training 

- Share exam content under any circumstances

- Use automated tools to access the platform 

- Violate data privacy rules

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Veteran Check may integrate with third-party providers. Veteran Check is not responsible for external content or systems.

11. DATA & PRIVACY

Your data is handled in accordance with the Veteran Check Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to data storage and processing.

12. TERMINATION OF USE

Veteran Check reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, misuse of materials, or fraud.

13. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. Veteran Check does not guarantee certification outcomes, employment results, or system uptime.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Veteran Check is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. Liability is limited to the amount paid for Services in the last 12 months. 

15. INDEMNIFICATION

Users agree to indemnify Veteran Check against claims arising from unauthorized use of the services, violation of terms, or misuse of certifications.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS

Veteran Check may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of changes.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in Orange County, CA.
